English below

Deleting your account and data in IRTAQI
Last updated: 26 October 2026
We have no servers that hold your data. An account in IRTAQI is signing in with Google, and it is optional. When you sign in, the app keeps a copy of your bookmarks, marked words, favourites and playlists in a private file in your own Google Drive. It never reaches us.
So deleting your data means deleting that file, and you can do it yourself in either of the two ways below.
Option 1: in the app
- Open Settings (الإعدادات, the gear at the foot of the page).
- Tap حسابي (My account) at the top of the screen.
Google Drive (Delete the Google Drive copy), then حذف (Delete) to confirm.
The file is deleted from your Google Drive at once, the app’s access to your Drive is withdrawn, and you are signed out.
Option 2: without the app
If you have already uninstalled the app or no longer have it:
- Open drive.google.com on a computer, then Settings ⚙ → Manage apps.
- Find IRTAQI, then Options → Delete hidden app data.
- To remove the app’s access to your account: open myaccount.google.com/connections, choose IRTAQI, and delete the connection.
Deleting some of your data and keeping your account
You can delete any single item in the app without signing out:
- A bookmark: in Settings → العلامات المرجعية (Bookmarks), tap ⊗ beside it, then حذف (Delete).
- A word marked in red: tap it in mistake review (مراجعة الأخطاء) and it goes back to black.
- A favourite or a playlist: delete it from its list.
While you are signed in, what you delete is removed from the copy in your Google Drive at the next sync (within seconds, or when you leave the app), and from your other devices when they next sync. The file keeps a short record of what was deleted and when, without its content, so that the deletion reaches your other devices; that record is erased after 180 days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted at once: the file in your Google Drive and everything in it — bookmarks and their names, words marked in mistake review, favourites, playlists, and when each was created, changed or deleted.
- Kept by us: nothing. There is no copy with us or on any server of ours, so nothing remains after deletion and there is no retention period.
- What is on your device is not touched by either option; your bookmarks stay on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app erases everything it stored on the device.
- Your Google account itself is not an account with us and is not affected.
